On 2 November 1975 the body of Pier Paolo Pasolini was found murdered outside Rome. He was beaten and run over by his own car. Later that day, Pino “The Frog” Pelosi, a 17-year-old hustler, was arrested driving Pasolini’s Alfa Romeo.

Pino was smaller that Pasolini and had no injuries. But he confessed and was found guilty. The judge sentenced him to 9 years in prison because he did not believe the young man was solely responsible. Nonetheless, prosecutors did not continue the investigation and no one else has ever been charged in Pasolini’s death.
