“I have been collecting images and memories of hands for years. The pictures and stories intrigue, inspire, and sometimes haunt me. The appendages don’t always stand-in for men specifically but for amorphous concepts such as age and wisdom, strength or sensitivity. This book is an attempt to make sense of my feelings about hands through writing, collage, and collecting.”
