These vases should have smart and charming names. The process of making them is worthy of something special. I press wet clay into firewood. As it dries, the clay takes on the impression of the grain before it is shaped. The text is made by pressing small wooden letters into the still moist clay before it dries completely.

Indestructible Artifacts are an ongoing series that requires the viewer to finish the piece. They are meant to be used and experienced, and ultimately changed. Sure, you can leave it on a shelf and appreciate it. But why not cover with cookies, sliced cheese, or party favors?
